Covert Recordings is a small recording and mastering studio based in Colchester, CT. We’re committed to providing a wide range of high quality audio recording and mastering services to bands across southern New England.
It's important to us to do what we can to support new music and with that in mind, we make it our goal to keep our prices reasonable so unsigned bands can still afford to do a quality recording.

About Jim
Jim Smith bring his passion, dedication and over 20 years of experience in music to Covert Recordings. Jim has played guitar in and written for several bands over the past 15 years, most notably, The Enemies and Carbomb Inc. He’s also recorded and mastered many of Connecticut’s favorite bands. During an earlier incarnation of Covert Recordings, Jim had the opportunity to work with New London’s Superbald, Estrogen & Tonic and The Suicide Dolls. Jim’s experience in the local music scene has been extensive and he continues to be an asset to musicians both locally and nationally.
